Pretty poor form from NZ spectators I thought... the guys a wanker but I'd like to think we're better sports than that.

Nasty looking injury to Quade, an injury like that could be the end of a professional sportsman's career. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Half-pi watching the final now.. 29min. 5-0.

There's a thread in here about a valley called, allegedly, "Maungutukutuku".
Sod off, nobody believes that is a real word, or a real place either. I bet the average Kiwi can't even pronounce (that means "say") it. Leaving bait for foreigners might be good sport, but you'll need to do better than that effort.

How's the Rugby goin'?

Yeah, we won. just... and thank fuck for that... the place would have been bloody painful if we hadn't.

Fingers crossed, we'll only have a week of crapping on about it, and then we can return to our 'regular viewing'.

Bugger speaking of which, i think i've missed the Malaysian MotoGP

Oh.. BTW: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maungakotukutuku and it's pronounced "Munga-ko-tookoo-tookoo"... or summink like that. Just slow down and say it like you're talking to cop.

And that other bloke whining about Kiwi's and Aussies. Mate, just clean up those cans, where are we going to throw the new empties? And while you're washing the dishes, think about getting a better-looking missus, I don't like rooting fuglies.

Out of Wikipedia: (OK, I'm bored)

The name on the sign that marks the hill is "Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateaturipuka kapikimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitanatahu", which translates roughly as "The summit where Tamatea, the man with the big knees, the climber of mountains, the land-swallower who travelled about, played his nose flute to his loved one". At 85 letters, it has been listed in the Guinness World Records as one of the longest place names in the world.

Nose flute?

NZ's quality of life mediocre

NZ's quality of life mediocre

http://www.stuff.co.nz/business/indu...-life-mediocre

While GDP improved in 2010 it remains lower than it was in 2007. For New Zealand, rated 22 of the 34 countries in the OECD, to catch up to Australia would require annual growth of at least 2.5 per cent.

Income inequality worsened, but the biggest contributor to this was the wealth of some of the richest New Zealanders sinking with lower returns on investments during the recession.

Around 20 per cent of children live below the poverty line. The average New Zealand income remains below that of most OECD countries.

We have that shit printed to keep the dickheads outa NZ

Yeah the recession is still here, unfortunately for the financial size of NZ we are the hair on the end of the dogs tail so when the dog wags the tail we just have to follow.

No real choice while we are supporting dole bludgers and the Euros and US are having there biggest ever fight to stay upright ... no much chance for us but things will come better.

So fuckit ....lets ride!!
