Oh yes, there's nothing like a "Irish Breakfast" aka "a fry". You seem to have a slightly americanized form here cause you don't have black or white pudding, and coffee, instead of a mug of tea :) (It's essentially the same as an "English Breakfast"). Nothing like a good full breakfast in the morning. Sets up for hours of riding around. Nom nom nom.

Ditto. Some great advice there. Kerry and Cork are my favourites aswell. I haven't gone up North much myself. Did a weekend around Donegal, which was good, but not as good at Kerry/Cork.

And not just the "ring" of kerry... Most folks only stick to the road that rings the peninsula (ring of kerry.... doh) but there are some truly remarkable sights if you go down the middle of the peninsula, on the black valley route... Killarney to Waterville via the gap of dunloe... Next time ye're down there, keep it in mind.... Tour busses can't fit on these narrow & twisty "1 car", or should I say "1 cart" lanes.... Perfect for dual sport bikes though

Definitly! Think I've done part of that route you have there, maybe not all of it. There's still more for me to explore.

The actual Ring of Kerry is alright, not great (I prefer the nearby Ring of Béara). Quite touristy. If you do do it, do it clockwise. All the busses and coaches have to do it anti-clockwise (they would get stuck otherwise), and if you go anti-clockwise you could be stuck behind a bus. Must better to meet them head on:

My wife and I didn't see the Ring of Kerry, but spent extra time near Galway/Barna (I'm sure my spelling if off) and Dingle. I'd move there if I could.

people who have never been here wouldn't believe it if you tell them you could be half way round a corner in the first pic to suddenly find the road turns into the second pic in twenty yards.
