thanks man... most of the pics were taken on the iveragh peninsula, co kerry. A couple of them were taken on the beara peninsula, west cork.

Yep thats me, I was sent in to that one to "test the water".

If I'm alone I usually walk a bit of the track first. Its amazing what fear and a bit of right hand can achieve!

The mate and I were thinking of going to Leenane Co Galway, Lisburn via Westport next Friday, (if it isn't chucking it down)

Has any one got any Ideas, roads to go on places to stay.

He can only get away for the Friday night, if it happens.

If you are going as far as Leenane you may as well go a wee bit further and hit Clifden. It's only another wee jot down the road and there's plenty of B&B's there as well as gret places to eat. Bring plenty of Euro though. They do know how to charge....

Yes am very fond of Clifden, and all of the south is very costly, but getting cheaper, euro dropping

There's a wee footpathalong the river, out of the car park. Nobody seemed too bothered, was on my own taking pics which might have helped.
