Beautiful pictures! A motorcycle tour of Ireland is pretty much #1 on my list of dream rides. I am trying to talk my wife into it next year for a graduation present. I am a 40 year old Electrical Engineering Technology student and will have my BS in EET next spring.

Technically Cooper's are English but I have always been drawn to Ireland much more than anywhere else for some reason. I will ride there someday .

My wife has wanted to visit Ireland for years. However, she has a terrible allergy to tobacco smoke. She also has COPD. So, smoke is out. How are the restaurants and hotels for smoke? tom

Ireland introduced a smoking ban before England did so should be no worries anywhere in UK and Ireland

Other parts of Europe still allow smoking inside

Smoking is illegal inside all enclosed workplaces, and has been since about 2004. That means no smoking in bars, restaurants, taxis, hotels, etc. People have to smoke outside. As you can see, the weather in Ireland does not lead itself to spending a lot of time outside. :P
