Dual Sport Conversion

I've got a 96 R8505R that I've had for years. It's been a great, but now I'm thinking dual purpose. I've been trying to sell the 850 and use the proceeds to by a GS. Recently, I've been thinking I should consider a dual sport conversion for the 850. Any thoughts? Any resources our there for what I'd need to all consider and do. Thanks.

It is fairly simple, you probably only need to get a pair of 1100GS shocks and wheels. A 1150GS front shock (and wheels) will also do, but rear shocks aren't interchangeable across the models.

And you end up with something a lot more reliable than a 1200 for a lot less cost.
