I was planning on installing it tonight, but just couldn't muster up the energy. If you're ever up this way you're welcome to stop by and see it. With a baby on the way, perhaps ahead of schedule, I doubt I'll be in Jackson any time soon though.

I'm hoping to come up with a burst of energy in the morning...

I heeded your warning and got to work today!

First:

Super easy install:

Only the GPS for now. Lights will go on soon and maybe heated grips at some point.

Next, protection:

All done. It now has as much armor as and up-armor HUMVEE, and weighs as much too.

Swapout

I did a swapout yesterday. Back at the beginning of the year I was trying to sell a boat and a guy offered this Harley for a trade, so rather than dealing with folks and money I took the bike and played with it.

The Harley hasn't been doing anything for me and is "in my opinion" very uncomfortable and not something I would go any distance on. Yesterday I found this rascal and the Harley is History....

Fortunately, this morning we had a nice cool front and sunny skies so I rang up about 200 miles on this with ease. I'm looking fwd to some long distance rides now. Bye Bye Harley, Hello RT!!!!

Great bike. That should eat up some miles with ease.

It is a great bike. Some bikes take a lot of effort to ride and really wear you out. The Harley was like that for me. The RT is very comfortable and will cruise at 80 MPH all day long. I can tweek the windshield and it creates that bubble and you get no wind or noise. I'm gonna love this bike. I just ordered a top box, crash bars, and a half cover.
