I'd prolly start around that 21 mrk down to 18... I think it should be fine around there even with the size and power. Carry a tube while looking for the magic # though... I bet somewhere bbetween 18-24 will be a sweet spot though on the rear.

Start out with 25lbs & go down from there until it makes you happy. If you don't have rim locks, then do not go below 15lbs. I've been using 25lbs on my Tiger & the only time I wanted to go lower was in slick red mud.

Ok, I'll try that. The rear didn't feel too bad, just the front seemed a little squirrelly. I think I might do a damper too!

flid, 20-22 psi will do wonders for traction, unless you're hammering on that puppy like a madman, you should be ok. Look at what all the other 990 adventure riders are running in their rear tires and what type terrain and go with that.

Looks like you're running a 4.3" wide rim on the rear, I don't think you can get a rim lock for that width rim.

10-4. I'll be experimenting. I was running pretty quick on the interstate yesterday, so I was happy to have the tires pumped up a bit.

nope. that spot is now black and the whole thing has a few cotes of clear. I'll get a pic tomorrow.. forgot to today as we tried it out after lowering the front half an inch. go to drop it a little more. the wobble is almost gone.

sorry. I'd finish it this morning but I'm back to work for the most part. I'm restricted to 50 LBS now instead of 10. 4 more weeks of that. I'll put it together tonight and get y'all some pic.

Thanks. I'm happy with it. it's not perfect. actually far from it but unless I sanded it for a day or two to make it slick it wasn't going to be any better. never going to stay perfect and I have enough pant to redo it quite a few times . regardless it's way better then solid white. and I know where to get some black vinyl to make my number plate back grounds.
