GSGurl, its the damn Argus Cycle tour, one of the largest in the world I understand, on the weekend you are here.

They block all manners of roads off, its a really shit weekend to be in a car. They even stop bikes, but if you ride a duallie, you can always hop on the pavement and off, if there arent too many people. But sadly.. theres always 10million people on the route, and so its hard to go anywhere on that Sunday...

No worries on the Cycle tour. No wonder everything in town was booked up.

Hey ADV in SA. I have just met Mike and Ruby, touring the world on GS1200 - 1 x each!!!! Just in from East Africa.

They are presently in Hillcrest, Natal servicing bikes and chilling and soon to set sail (sic) to Cape. T. then Angola and North North North.

If you meet up with them - pass on some local knowledge and good rides. Off road is fine - but not riduiculous and I -myself - personally - me - wish them a great trip.
