Can you fucking believe it, guys, I've been robbed AGAIN.....I think I'm ready to give up and just throw in the towel, I swear.

This time of all of my shoes - WTF is with THAT? Every single pair of shoes (and of course money) has been stolen. I actually just sitting here thinking I have seriously had enough. The "never rains but it pours thing" is getting to me a bit, just a teensy bit.

I've really really had enough now.

And Thundermerwe - shut it now. We've had our differences, but it's just a forum, for crying out loud.

Well I'm into SA for the second half of Sept/Oct. Red Cherry didnt pan out, Enduro Africa and my Safari conspired against me. Seems like a good outfit I'll need to get back.

This point, I'll hire a bike if I can and head out. Have a ticket to Cape Town, but may just stay in Port Elizabeth. Roughly the last week of Sept. Anyone point me to a reputable rental shop. Have a line on Le Cap and a couple others in Cape Town. Choices look slim to nil in Port Elizabeth. I'll be traveling solo as the rest of my group is headed to do Shark Cages.

Any thoughts or abuse appreciated and well taken.

I think there was a party, a show off (some vague attempt at a wheelie, like I know what the hell I am doing), a shebeen, a ditch plus a face plant involved and lots of friends laughing.......

WAIT no no no - I didn't face plant according to one of my friends - I just felt an urgent need to hug the ground.

The best is the guy who is half my size rushing to pick me up and wanting to carry me. D00d, you gonna kill me - I'm going to end up with a broken neck if you try this.

No and no.

Very sweet though. Nice thought.

Thanks - I'll do that. If nothing else I'll find someone in PE who'll rent me something at some price - just hoping it has 2 wheels.

Are we talking about those bones that haven't healed properly and may need to be rebroken, the potential move to Mauritius or....?

However, the thought of rebreaking of bones had me looking at the doc in a way I don't think he liked, so it is still under discussion.

Other than tht I am fine - how is everyone else doing?

Well, you guys do have the weather, thats all I can say.

About zero or -2'C here, wih a brisk breeze and snow forecast for he weekend.

I have been looking at smaller.... 200cc to 500cc bikes, KLR, DT, XL etc at the moment, because my 1200GS is a big old lump, and sometimes a smaller bike is so much nicer.
This reminded me of just how good SA riding is.

Vasbyt, and enjoy the sunshine .

Welshman, when are you over here again ?
