yup my rockers have defects they are smooth but my cam made them, remember the weldong scenario? they have a small pit on the roght exhasut lobe..its a pit but its an imperfection that will eventually lead to failure

Better safe than sorry man. Send out the rockers and the cam at the same time. Do it once, do it right and be done with it.

CW charges $55.00 per rocker IIRC. How much for OE rockers depends on who/where ya get 'em.

Installing a performance cam usually calls for a new spring set.

This has already been handled. CW 628 lump stick, rockers, spring set and guide seals have all been ordered.

Cometic makes the oversize head gaskets and Wiseco re-labels them with their name.

Cometic # C3216

Wiseco # W5430

XR600R Rebuild

Steve, Congratulation on the over 10k mark! I sent you a p.m regarding my engine. You've been very helpful so far, but I need more advice/answers, if you please.

How do I post pics in this thread? I wanted you to check out some things for me.

I can't find anything on the site that tells how to post pics...either that or I'm just too tired and am missing it.

Thanks,
Sixweeds

If you hover over anyone of your pics in photobucket it will give you link options. Copy the link from the IMG tags and paste it into the thread like so.
