Personally I am looking pretty hard at a galaxy s2. Partially because I want to go with a no contract, and partially because I don't personally care for no SD card in the s3. Keep us updated on what you get, though, haven't made my mind up yet! |

I was just trying to shop phones on the Sprint site, they won't let me because they show my ZIP as a no coverage area.
I've had Sprint for nearly 9 years, there is hardly any service at home but I can't believe I can't shop the site because of it. This battery was good for about 8 months I guess, the cold really kills it now tho. |

We will finally be able to upgrade from our Blackberries in a month and a half (Verizon). While we're planning on getting two S3 phones, I also have been wondering about the Motorola Droid Maxx HD. I hear they have better battery life than the S3, are more rugged and with similar performance. Does anyone have any experience with the Droid Maxx HD?

The Maxx does have great battery life but I left Motorola for Samsung (S2) after the Atrix 4g.
I deal with battery life by keeping a spare battery. Whatever you buy make sure it's eligible for Jellybean (4.1.2) The majority of Android users are 2 versions behind, and if iPhone users saw the latest version they would probably cry with jealousy. The ability to have 2 apps on the screen at once now with the S3 (and Note 2) really goes to show how handcuffed ios users are to the will of Jobs. More about the S3's new features... Admittedly your stock experience may vary. Mine was stock for about 30 minutes.

it seems tedious because they show the setup for every single thing individually, but the actual use doesn't seem tedious... but i don't have an s3, so what do i know. ;D
