I'm using player pro music app and isyncr app to talk to iTunes. It's a pretty nice combo.

After doing a couple weeks of research into whether we would replace our venerable Blackberrys on Verizon with a Samsung GS3 or Motorola Droid Maxx HD, we drove down to Farmington (New Mexico) to the Best Buy there to get our phones. Both were the same price, $150 with 2yr contract. Finally able to hold a display sample of each, my original decision to get the Motorola over the Samsung was confirmed. But contrary to their web site, they were out of stock...

Our two new Maxx HDs will available for pick up on Thursday. Can't wait!

For four lines, I got the best price out of a T-Mobile value plan. $92/mo (including tax) gets us 1500 shared minutes and unlimited texting. Data is $5 more per phone, but I don't pay for it; home/public wifi is sufficient 95% of the time, and on the rare occasion I am on the road for an extended time, I either suffer the inconvenience or add the option for the duration of the trip.

The only quirk is that it actually comes with a two-year contract. But after the two-year period is up, they are stuck at that price. How's that for karma!

That seems like a really good option for you..... unfortunately I need data all the time, so the Family Talk plan seems to be the best for me right now. I have made a couple of adjustments to my habits, such as only allowing updates when WiFi is available. But that is the only major change I have made.....so far I'm surprised at how little data I really use.......Once again I'm questioning why I was paying for all that unused data on Verizon........

For example, right now I am at about 100MB of "cellular data" for 2 weeks of normal use - web browsing when needed, 2 email systems on push sync (real time, approx. 150 emails a day combined), occasional Face Book usage, weather apps, etc. Extrapolating from those figures, unless I start streaming movies to my phone (unlikely) I would be hard pushed to hit a Gig in a month. And I would consider myself a pretty heavy user.....I'm a "Global Messaging Engineer"...whatever that means......

Great choice! I love mine. I got the the Otter box defender case. It's a hunk but its damn near bulletproof and I need that protection.

Samsung Note II - I want one, but they aren't available on StrightTalk plans yet (if ever). Just saw one yesterday, and finally it's a phone that isn't woman-sized.

Not a clue.

I bought my phone from them, and they have phones listed... http://www.shopstraighttalk.com/bpdi...Phonelist=true

All I know is that it costs me $45 per month, and that seems so much better than what others are paying each month ($80 to $92?!?!? - screw that).

If they use GSM phones and a SIM card, any such phone can be used.

Just looked it up - you can bring your own. If you want one, buy it elsewhere (tmobile, art, or unlocked gsm) and bring it over...

I was also looking for good reliable cheap phone service and went with a Nexus 4. My service is Solavei; $49 a month. Unlimited everything. Prepaid, not contract.

If you're planning to buy a phone, the Nexus 4 is a killer deal at $300 (8gb) for an unlocked phone. Sure it doesn't have expandable memory (there is a 16gb model for $50 more) but it really is a top flight phone for half the price of the other ones from Apple, Samsung, Nokia, Blackberry etc.

Love my original Galaxy Note. Just wish the powers that be would hurry the 'f' up and get Jelly Bean on it. Otherwise, love the size!

A client of mine had the Note II - they are already out. I saw it here at work.
