Building an Adventure Van

As the wiring is getting more complicated I've started printing plasticized waterproof labels for all of the leads going to the buses. Should make life easier if I start getting senile :




Stuck these above the driver's seat so when we're camping on the side of some cliff.. I can make sure my side of the bed is higher

Our weekend plans have changed and now we're off to the Tetons in the van to do some hang gliding for five days if the weather cooperates.

If you see us on the road.. be sure and give us the finger or something

Needs more heat shrink to truly be OCD. Or all connections must be stress-releived, weather proof, and labeled. Self-adhesive heat shrink optional.

Wow. I had no idea this existed. This is the coolest thing ever (today). I'm not at all surprised that a race car fabricator has this technology.

Is the heat shrink good quality? I could just buy a cartridge and write on it, no?

I'm totally geeking out... Typing this on my phone while relaxing on the bed in the van... The stereo is playing Bob Dylon via Bluetooth from the phone in my hand... The wireless remote next to me says the fridge is down to 42.8 degrees (picked it up as we were leaving town and installed it on the road) and the xantrex says we are using 6.1ah right now

I used to camp there on the north side of the reservoir with my son and dive off some rock formations 8 - 15 feet to the water....rather refeshing cold mountain water for a morning swim, check it out
