You installed a trailer plug when you installed the hitch, right? Get a couple of waterproof boat trailer taillights and bolt them to the rack. Better safe than sorry, and anyone who hits you in the back won't be able to claim that they couldn't see your lights. One other thing you might want to do is install a rubber pad on the carrier so if someone bumps you (or you back in to something), they hit the rubber pad first and maybe reduce the damage to the carrier and bike. It might also save your shins in the dark.

it's called a "Sport Carrier"... a bunch of local colorado dealers carry them including Fay Meyers and Rocky Mountain Kawasaki.

They're manufacturer in Longmont.

The photo booths will just charge your KTM. (cheaper) Acutally, I doubt they could get a good angle on the KTM plate.

I put lights on mine but my van's lights are pretty obscured by the bike's wheels. It did not cost me much and adds some peace of mind. Can't wait to get out and do some more of this!

I got the parts here: etrailer.com

Van: $XXXXX.
Dirtbike: $XXXX.
12v fridge: $XXX.

Having a cold beer out of the van's fridge after a full day of playing on the dirtbikes instead of working on a Wednesday?: PRICELESS

The Sprinter is officially a year old already?!?

I took this photo an hour ago:

One year of ownership summary:

Odometer: 26,750 miles.
Fuel: just over $5000 = ~1350 gallons = ~20mpg.
Adblue (DEF): Just filled it for the 3rd time ($26).
Issues: 1 minor - at the 20k service they found a small oil weep in the transmission (dripped one or 2 drops a day) that they repaired under warranty.
Regrets: only that I don't have time to work on it and play with it more.

Would I buy it again? Without hesitation. The most fun/versatile vehicle I've ever owned.
Assuming it remains problem free, the only reason I would trade it in would be on a 4x4 version.
75,000 miles of warranty remaining.

Some favorite pics from this year:

Jackson Hole:

Sagauche:

Crested Butte:

Daytona Beach:

Snowboarding a dozen times:

Brainered Lake:

Miami:

Breckenridge:

Great Sand Dunes:

Playing at the track

Key West

Our neighborhood @ home

cheers to those whom visited this thread... to be continued when I stop playing long enough to get back to the build.
