Smart move buying all the power tools before the actual wedding

That way you have a lot less "splainin' to do"

That was a first...

Sitting on main st in Ouray while Cheryl grabs some provisions before we head to Silverton

A guy knocks on the window...

"hey are you geek on the Sprinter forum?"

I've had it happen many times "are you feel on adv" over the years but the sprinter forum is a first

"I recognized your wheels.. I used some of your 8020 ideas in my Sprinter too"

Turns out he lives here in Ouray. Lucky bugger!

You might of covered it already, but is there a noticeable difference in road noise or heating and cooling requirements with all of the new windows? I am sure the views and ability to open them outweigh an negatives, but curious.

I am jealous of the dog as well.

LOVING the windows. We both agree that it is the best money we've spent on the Van (though I think Cheryl thinks the Espar might be a close 2nd)

We might fell different if we camped in crowded campgrounds like most folks we see but we prefer boon docking.

I was woken by the sun in my eyes this morning.. Opened them to an 11,000 peak on my left and the dog flat on her back with her feet in the air (working on her tan) between us on my right. Perfect.

Yes there is a road noise difference if laying on the bed at highway speed but when driving the windshield noise is what you hear ( since I've sound insulated everything)

We are in Silverton

Katy-M & I are chillin in the back of the van while Cheryl is getting groceries.

I've been to Animas Forks numerous times on the bikes... I think I might go check out how tore up the final bit of road is and if it isn't bad take the van up

We camped at 10,600 last night.
The view didn't suck

We are in Mesa Verde right now and it is 101 degrees. I think it is time to climb out of the heat. Camping tonight above Telluride

Last night we camped at 10,300 on top of Lizard Head pass. Most spectacular scenery yet!

I have some pretty cool 'good camera' pics to post later
