Great pics!

I've never been to NM, guess I need to put it on a trip list. Route suggestions??

Thanks Chris,

We are slowly collecting "Back Routes" for our own NM discovery. PM me if you'd like some of my GPS tracks

Nice looking country. I had no idea there was anything like this in NM.
Let me know when you have a backcountry discovery route ready.

Only the northern part. I spent weeks on end hiking out there in that wilderness back in high school (summers of course). Beautiful country around the Cimarron area.

I actually meant the mountainous area with the trees, Pines, firs, etc. The central and southern is more like typical desert with scrubby oak, sand, less rain, etc. The entire state is beautiful, but I was trying to relate to the pictures that you showed in the first series.

Anyway, I wanted to ask you what were those tires you have on there? The rear ones in particular...

Nice. Look like they would have great grip off road. How are they on pavement? Tread life better than TKC- 80's hopefully (~4000 miles)

Performance on pavement is suprisingly great, haven't felt any loss of traction. You do get a decent howl but nothing major. I'm right now around 2,200mi on them. I have not seen abnormal wear and I rooster tail quite a bit.
