Just happened to drop in on this thread. I love everything HT built for the bike. They have held up extraordinarily well to the abuse I have put them through. Hobbes has been on his side at least 30 times and not a crack in the metal and hardly a scratch in the powder coating. Plus, designed and built in the USA.

question for you tiggerites: on the xc model - do the fork tubes have preload adjustment? and, setup from the factory, are the tubes fully extended, or is there some variability there?
what size are those tubes, btw?

I have a '12 Tiger 800 XC. the forks are 45mm Showas. They are not adjustable to my knowledge, if someone knows differently I'd love to hear how. I'm not sure I understand the fully extended part of your question. I have measured my travel and I'm getting very close to the 220mm of travel.
