SW-Motech Crasbars w/ 36L CooCase

Got the SW-Motech Crashbars installed, little tougher than anticipated (big hands and tight places = frustration). So this is my set up thus far. Considering the SW-Motech Skid Plate next or the Tiger Skid Plate. Also been considering Heidenau K60 Scout Rear Tire (http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/h...cout-rear-tire) Any body had any experience with these tires, good/bad??? It is easy to spend a lot fixing these up! Lastly I am 6' 3" and am getting my butt kicked by wind buffeting, any one found a cure? I was considering the MRA X-Screen Spoiler Adapter... (https://www.pureperformancecycles.co...-Spoiler-Blade)

Took out photos, they are in the reply post below...

Is that the 150/70-17 rears? The ones with a solid rubber strip down the middle?

I too am considering those for a rear, but I have read that the 150/70-17's with that strip in the middle can cause the rear to kick out sometimes and otherwise act a little squirly?

Have you noticed that yet, in any conditions?

Any input would be appreciated.

SInce you're 6'3", I have to recommend the Madstad winshield.

As far as teh solid center on teh K60's; my streetbike has worn tires with a solid centerstrip, and I've rode through too many rainstorms with it. No trouble, unless you ride around like a rehtard. Off road, I cannot say.

Jesse Luggage

I just received an email from Al Jesse...the guy that makes Jessee luggage. We used his panniers on our Alaskan Trip last summer 2011 with Triumph and Al was thinking we should sell his bags and he would donate the money to our Charity Autism for Community Training. The Bags do not come with complete mounts, we lost a few bolts etc but I can see if Al would be willing to sell the mounts and pipe extender for a decent price or even throw them in. We have 2 full sets of the Odyssey 10 inch panniers and also matching top boxes.

I have no idea the price he was thinking but I will get more details. Sorry for the hijack but if interested maybe PM me and I can give feedback to Al. The luggage is with us in Maple Ridge, BC Canada. More pics on our BLOG in the Best of Tiger posts, see link in my signature below. http://advgrrls.com/just-tigers-mega-pictures/ or click the link to the left. We never crashed or dumped the bikes. Panniers are in great condition considering where they went but still have decals on them.

this is how the mounts look...lean and tight to the bike

Anyway thought this would be a good thread to just get some feelers out. Now back to your show.

Good Ride to Young, AZ

Took a ride up to Young, AZ with some buddies of mine from Casa Grande. Good ride from Florence taking the Florence-Kelvin Hwy to Hwy 60. Hwy 60 north to Hwy 188. Took the Young, AZ turnoff near Roosevelt Lake and it is 47 miles to Young.
