Alright, here's my new to me Tiger 800 XC! I ended up buying it sight unseen while I was in Finland for 5 months. The price was too good to pass up, so I called the seller and arranged for him to drop it off at my house. My wife paid the bill, and I arrived a few months later to a new bike!

Anyway, no pictures of it in cool places as I'm still fighting off some jetlag and other sickness that result from a 24 hour travel day. For now, here's a picture next to it's sibling

Nice pics. By the way you can always ship that rear wheel to me for my Sprint ST. I know this is a Tiger thread, but that is one damn sexy Speed3!!

Been to Finland myself. Cold and limited sun light in the winter. Other than that it was great. Hyvinka.

Thanks! Yea, you can't beat the looks of the S3... they've always been my favorite bike. I think I'll keep the wheels, though

Yea, the winter is rough. Only getting three hours of overcast daylight gets to your head a bit! Awesome people, though. I made so many great friends there.

Looks a lot like my driveway! My S3 is the slower yellow color though.

Here's my new kitty.

Gonna drop her off for the first service this afternoon and pick up some more farkles. She loves to accessorize.

That "First Service 500 miles" is like the Pirate Code, right? It's really more like, guidelines.

I'll bust 1000 on the way to the shop for the appointment made at time of purchase.
(500 were on the clock three days after I picked it up)

Overall this is a really nice ride. The smooth power delivery, adequate OEM suspension, great looks and superb handling made it an easy fit.

My beefs are the same as everyone else, needs a lower 1st gear (I know, 15 tooth CS), and I wish Triumph would have given it adjustable suspension up front.

The handlebar shortcomings (position and hand guards) have been solved by a farkel transplant of my ProTaper Pastrana FMX bars with Cycra hand guards and Kaoko cruise from the KTM. Much better position and protection.

Lovin' it!

Now to pick up the centerstand, skid plate, mud flap, and H&B pannier racks (for my Caribou Cases) that should be waiting for me at the dealer.

I'm leaning toward the Holan guards for the engine and radiator.

Happy trails y'all!
