First 30 mile romp on my new XC, what a bike!!!!. First mods coming: altrider skid and rad guard, HDB hand guards.
Still waffling on engine guards. Anybody running caribou luggage?

I just got 1k on my green XC. Super, super bikes. Holan engine guards were my choice. From a vendor here, no affiliation.

Thanks for the link to the Holan's, first time I've checked them out and they look great, quite a bit tighter to the bike than the others I've seen.

Congratulations to both! I am getting my green XC on Friday might have to wait for a few days to ride as there's still of snow on the ground. I am considering the Tiger Adventure-Spec hard parts bundle, I like like the engine guards and skid plate, don't like the price...

I would say get it. Its a decent price for the package and the first time your Tiger naps on the trail, it just paid for itself. I particularly like their engine bars with cross brace. That should stand up to some significant abuse. Good luck on the new bike. I bought a KLR instead since I already have a Girlie with half the Touratech Catalog on it.

My new green beast!

These bikes are just incredible! I'm dreading to think the amount of money I'll spend on all the extras...

You have no idea Kennedy. That is why I will be keeping my 955i for quite some time. That is considering I kept the Zega bags that were on my Uly for use on the Tiger.

On a separate note, there is a very well farkled, lightly used Tiger 800 for sale at the Triumph dealer here in Anchorage. Nice fly n ride. Just throwing it out there for anyone on the 48 that want to ride Alaska, great opportunity.

i have SW Motech engine guards, they have great coverage, installation was straight forward and they are quite robust...however the quality and coverage comes with a weight penalty. But i am very happy with them...I have some installed pics up in this forum.

once again....

I posted a couple of these a while ago but my smug mug account expired and they were lost... I have a few new ones to add so here they are again.
Some of my home made farkles are included...brake line holder, and rad and header protector. A few months on and they have both held up surprisingly well considering i don't have 30.00 spent between them...
