Recently took a trip over the Going to the Sun road in Glacier, a few pics from the trip. Was riding with my dad who was on his dark sided Vulcan 2000 so we weren't really carving corners.

Stopped after the first tunnel on the way up from the West Glacier Side for a leg stretch.

The painters were out in force.

Just below Logan's pass, looking back down to the north west.

Panorama looking to the south east from just below Logans Pass.

9,000 cross country ride

This is by no means a recent trip I took, but I thought I'd post some pics of it anyway since I've never done so. This took place in 2011 July to August. 22 days 9,000 miles, NJ to California, lots of places in between, and back. I bought this bike impulsively just for this trip one week before I left. My cousin had just graduated from college and was wanting to do the trip as a life goal and he had the time so was planning it. I couldn't let him do it alone so spontaneously I decided to go with him. Didn't have a bike capable at the time with only a Norton and Ducati so I went out looking for something and I found the Tiger 800 .

Anyway here are some pics of that trip.

Gulf coast Louisiana

You can probably guess where here

Pikes Peak CO

CO somewhere

More CO. Near Pagosa Springs

AZ

Route 1 Cali

Yellowstone

Yellowstone still. I had two helmets for this trip. AGV full and this Davida for times when I need a break and wanted some air on my face. I was nice to switch it up.

The bike has changed since these pics and I've added a bunch of stuff. New pics to come once my latest stuff arrives. As you can see lots of gear was required for this trip, but the triumph stuff worked well. Lots of people bash it, but I honestly can't.

Best time of my life this trip.

Thanks and these aren't even the good pics. Just the ones with the bike. I took 1,000 pics on this trip....and we barely stopped to take pics lol. One night in each place was it.

Except for Red Lodge, MT where I had to wait for another one of these...

Anyone try going down the Beartooth Pass without a front brake besides me yet??? .....at sunset, during a rainstorm. FUN!

Just blew my clutch a few hundred meters from the top of Huriciane Pass in Colorado at about 12,000 feet. Now I'm stuck in Silverton waiting for a clutch assembly to be delivered - Silverton is an awesome place to be stranded! My buddy took the clutch apart up at 12000 feet and fixed it enough so I could ride down. I will post pics when I get home. The short stock levers are nice

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say: Colorado passes = steep rocky climbs vs the Tigers too high first gear = lots of clutch slipping = blown clutch. But that's just a guess.

If I was going to really use this thing in the dirt a smaller front sprocket is the first thing I would do. And maybe a larger rear. That is what I did with my baby Beemer. made a world of difference
