Heard an ex NFL player, now commentator on Mike&Mike this morning. (Didn't catch his name) He thought the first people that Suh should apologize to is his team. "What an incredibly selfish act..." They are in a playoff race, he may have cost them the game-- they were in it until his blow up caused a fourth down to become a first, close to the endzone. Once he was ejected the D didn't play as effectively. And he may be out for one to three games during the playoff race. His behaviour seriously cost his TEAM.

I liked this commentator, "What other sport can you legally pound some guy for three hours?... if the other guy pisses you off, great, beat the shit out of him legally for the rest of the game..." (my paraphrase not an exact quote)

Selfish is the word that came to my mind too, when I saw the play.

Was Detroit in the game until that happened? Did the complexion of the game change afterwards--to the beat down. Didn't realize the first half was a beat down? 7-0? Wow, big difference there.

Suh kicked the Packer on a third and goal stop... When it was 7-0. Hmmm 10-0 (assuming a FG) vs 14-0.... Then no Suh. Not saying that Detroit would have won, but it took them out of it. Even you could see the complexion of the game change then, no?

10-0 would have beat them.... we usually are up 14-0 in the first few minutes of a game
detroit was never in the game if you call not scoring until the 4th quarter..not in the game.

its a beat down...
anytime you start a 4th quarter and you hear that a team needs 3 touchdowns and 3 2-pt conversions just to tie it up. (even with suh it still would have been 2 touchdowns,2-2 pointers, and a fg)
those 4 points weren't a game changer....

suh don't play offense, i don't think anyone did in detroit the first 3 quarters.
maybe you haven't heard but our defense is shakey at best.....

detroit looked below average on a huge stage at home.
the hype train left the station without them on board

To do that, they FIRST have to win on Christmas day.......

Then, even if they do THAT, they will have a few MORE to win.

This ain't over.

You don't even have a name for this 'next man up'? Cutler was playing outside of himself and carrying the team on his back for a good portion of this season. You ain't gonna replace that with just any 'next man up'.
