I'm not a betting person and have really no idea how to read the odds however at Cappers web site, they list the Lions at 1500 to 1 to make the play-offs.

Odds to win NFC Championship - 12:1 (again, )

I am hopeful we'll be watching a playoff game this season, but beyond that I am very doubtful. Teams gotta learn how to play in meaningful games. They ain't there yet.

Sounds like you guys are making Ndamakong not very happy. I wouldn't want to be on the business end of an unhappy Suh. No-siree.

Bout time this team has something exciting to put on the field. Suh is on a Barry Sanders type level wrt reason to buy a ticket. He will put on a show and he comes to work each and every game. QB's gotta be having nightmares thinking about him coming up on their backside.

I wouldn't be too sure of that. Anyone with any Lion history in their back pocket will know that this is the 1st time in a long time that this organization has had any sodrt of respectible leadership. Add to that the talent they've aquired and this is not your father's Lions football team.

But yeah, it's still just pre-season. Add to that the Patriots couldn't care less about that game and it becomes more insignificant.

I don't think you can deny the idea that quartebacks will be having night sweats leading to their date with Suh and his crew.

He will be suspended at some point this season. I would be surprised if not. The man has already garnered a reputation for pummeling needlessly (allegedly) and seems to not be able or willing to tone it down at all.

That said, the NFL needs to quit pussifying the game. Too much flag football rules anymore. Charles Edward Greene is sickened by this version of the game he loves. Jack Lambert pukes on this new powder-puff footbal being sold to us.
