I grew up with Suzuki's, my Dad bought himself a bike when I was 9 or 10. It was a TS125 and I was in awe. I eventually ended up with that bike and several more TS's and RM's followed. In 2000 I bought my first brand new bike, a 1200 Bandit that I plan to keep forever. The last of the air/oil cooled muscle bikes it's simple, reliable and a thrill to ride.

I'm currently looking for an old TS, for old times sake.

I'm at work so I can't post any pictures but all the bikes I've owned have been Suzuki. They have all been fantastic to ride and I have enjoyed them immensely. I would love to give a DR650 a try and definitely want a DRZ400SM again as it was a blast to ride! I want my next bike to be a MTS1200 but can't see that happening anytime soon.....oh well, maybe I'll pick up another zuk to ride around town.

in order of ownership....
1979 PE250
2000 SV650S
2003 SV1000S
2005 DRZ400SM
2007 Kingquad 700 (not a bike but was very reliable for the mods and abuse it put up with)
2009 DL650 (sold two weeks ago)

I must agree. Even my DR200 takes me to great places. Today, Hidden Springs Ranch, Springfield, Ohio.

But I'm sure the orange bike got there faster... Only kidding. I ride with a buddy that has the same bike as me, only older. DR650...350, 200, hell, they all kick ass.

There were eight of us, and in those conditions we were all struggling. No place to open 'em up anyway. I was glad to have my lightest bike.

My RM250 - nicknamed - The Yellow Devil. I like it because it's my first dirt bike and first two-stroke (32 years on street bikes). I got it a year ago January and I spent the first 8 months trying to keep up with it. I finally feel like I'm riding it and not the other way around. What a blast.

I wouldn't have said I thought Suzuki was my favourite manufacturer but thinking about it all the Suzukis I've owned have suited me perfectly. My DR-Z400S was fantastic fun, on and off-road and my GS500E and Bandit 6 were the perfect cheap commuters for me when I was studying. I wouldn't hesitate to buy any of them again.

Take care!

I have that same junk lying around my yard, check it out in the background

See the screen over by the door the other two pieces are laying just outside the pic. They have us in nice little packages.

I've had at least one Suzuki in the stable since the late 60's. Here are a couple from the stable that I exercised today.

Just picked this up last night. It's not that I look for a suzuki, it's just they make the bikes that interest me.

TU now up for grabs,

Similar taste!!

I didn't know how great white looked until I seen it on this bike, with that slight gold flake shining back at you. Awesome bike, I feel like I'm on top of the world riding it. While riding on some of the curvy roads here in Myrtle Beach it just feels so intoxicating!

My affair with Suzuki started out in 1996.I bought a brand new 96 GSXR750 SRAD with .01 miles on it.I sold it for a profit a month later.Wish I had never sold it.Later on I picked up an 89 GS500E and promptly modified it extensively. It is my daily rider and around the mountains bike.Since then I have purchased three more and have enough parts and frames to build two more, for a grand total of six GS500E.I am currently building two 92 GS500E for myself. One is going to be a mostly stock touring bike and the other is going to be a custom touring trike.I may possibly build a small cargo trailer for the trike, haven't decided yet.All the info, and PICS, can be found below at my blog and facebook page.I am just getting started out with these so bare with me.I add info as time allows.

Here is a quick morning ride I took last year with pics. http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=721774

I agree. It's a fabulous bike. Have you noticed the white making people in front slow down? I have, must look like a police bike in the rear view mirror, I guess. Or... maybe the bike is just too fast?
