My 2008 SV650 set up for touring. And shopping, apparently. It's the only photo I had with the windscreen installed.

Why they don't bring Sport/Standards like this to the US is beyond me. This is exactly the kind of bike that could make me impulsively purchase a bike while at a dealership. Simply gorgeous.

I had that exact same bike (1982 GS 750E) a couple of years ago. It was in almost as good of condition. I bought it with 6,200 miles and sold it with 13,000. I did not have the chrome front fender and the paint was starting to peel on it. Great bike!!

Yeah, My front fender also was peeling, found this chrome fender on Ebay and made it work, has a few small dings but looks better then peeling paint.

I've got two of them.

GSX 1100 E - the pic isn't of mine, but of one that looks exactly like it. I'm just now starting to gather parts to restore her to her former glory:

And a TL 1000 S - my current pride and joy:

I've got a couple of nice additions since that pic, just waiting for the weather to go above freezing to ride and take a couple of better pics.. Was mild last weekend when I got to have the first ride of the year, but winter is clinging on it seems..

Forgot about why I prefer them... Well, the first one is my first love (see intro ride report in sig line). The TL is just the most fun you can have with your clothes on. What an engine, and what character! I'll probably get a hernia in my spine for how I sit on it since I can't fit risers, but it's totally worth it!

But it all started with one of these, in shock pink

Don't tell anyone, but I'm of late considering being untrue to the brand, through buying a Super Tenere... If only Suzuki would release a revamped Vee-strom as well!! I need the displacement..

Here in the US it's either a sport bike or a cruiser...nothing in between. Big standards have been gone for some time now. Seems the few standards sold here are entry level.

Great collection of Zook's so far.

Here's mine - a stock GR650 that I'm trying to sell:

The "still a project" GR650:

And a GR650 "Special":

My wife drives an 06 Grand Vitara, and here's a pic of my 2011 Equator:
