650 hp rally car does SF

this was in the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper, not my ride but something I've always wanted to do ever since Bullitt. And there is a motorcycle involved.....

The car is Ford Fiesta, 0 to 60 in 1.8 seconds

How the hell do they get 650 HP out of a 2.0 liter?

That was awesome! Ken Block is truly talented. Pastrana and STYX was the icing on the cake. GREAT SHARE.

Did it kind of seem like there weren't the "spectators" you'd expect.

If I saw that going down you'd see me on top of a bus stop trying to get a look. They had the whole place deserted.

I noticed a series of crop circles on the upper deck of the Bay Bridge a few months ago. I bet they're from the filming.

The 1986 BMW Formula One motor was 1.5 liters but put out around 1300 BHP in qualifying trim. Rod Millen's Pikes Peak Toyota Celica from the 90's was turning out around 900 BHP from just over 2 liters.

650 seems a bit on the soft side.
