P.S. I don't let her ride on the back if I'm riding on the highway, only easy trails and logging roads.
My dog is 60 lbs, 9 years old, and has a bad leg (Healing slowly)...her time has passed for riding, but I was thinking for the next pooch I get.

I'm a big dog person, so I don't know if this is a good idea or not. I'd like to take the pooch on road trips.

Had forgotten this one, the epitome of laid back.
This dog was quite happily soaking up the sunshine (ignoring any vehicles) on the slip road to the ferry while his owner ran the ferry boat backwards and forwards across the Scottish loch. A more boisterous younger dog was travelling backwards and forwards on the ferry itself.

In the Eclectic Shed today

The Eclectic Shed gives us these pics and the news that my Trophy 500 will be left to sulk today for fear of disturbing the fledglings.
The bike’s a Triumph and the birds are swallows. The horses are unconcerned.

These were taken up top, quite near Fernando.

You remember Fernando.

Last Saturday, taking a break on a ride somewhere deep in WV, I saw somethinhg move quickly on a guardrail post. It looked too big to be a (normal) spider. I tried to get a quick pic before it left sight

You can barely see a speck on the post to the far right

When I walked towards it it jetted again.

Found you sucker! on the backside of the pole, barely 1" long let me screw around with a macro shot

Olympics and Promenades

There was some scruffy old bloke waving a stick at a not overlarge collection of Real Classic musicians, most of the blokes looked like they’d borrowed their brothers’ suits and got their ties from the remaindered box at the Oxfam shop.

Lots of bison along the Alcan. Headed south, they were north of Liard Hot Springs.

Coming back north, they had moved a few miles south to the driveway of Liard Hot Springs Lodge.

The bike isn't in this photo 'cause I was sitting on it, engine running. Pretty weak telephoto on that camera.
