Bear Camp Road first timer

I'm heading west from Grants Pass on Monday and returning on Tuesday on a 250 KLX.

Any of you locals have tips or warnings?

Monday morning might still have a lot of shuttles coming back over the hill, stick to the right and prepare to just stop.

Most of the morning traffic will be heading west

It's afternoon when it gets interesting

BTW take Peavine Lookout Rd

It ends up back on Bear Camp and usually has zero traffic

Go north to Eden Valley and accross

Much less traffic, no teenagers running raft trucks at scary speeds taking the whole road. No local forest rangers patrolling the road to catch the teenagers. Lots of great views and spectacular water falls. Only busy spot is from the top down to Agness because its a short cut to Powers from Agness, Longer but nicer.
