I use clear, yellow, or a slightly tinted grey that probably has a fancy name that I don't know. The yellow works great when there isnt a lot of sun...plus it makes you feel happy

Good luck all you ADVers who've entered.
Does anyone know if the French guy Fabien Barel who's on the entry list is the former mountain bike downhiller and three time DH world champ? It probably is since he retired from MTB racing last season.

I think you just potted a potential top 5 finisher!

I hate those former pro sporters

Hi All,

Looking at the safety gear for the Toureg, are these the flares I need "Pains-Wessex Minflare Pen Signal Kit" from:

http://www.adecmarine.co.uk/product_...6A638510498%7D

Any bike suppliers in the UK that sell the rally emergency gear?

thanks,

Clayton

He's a really nice guy, not like CD at all, I'm sure he'll help pull you out of the mud if you get stuck tehdutchie! Seriously though Fabien was one of the most universally liked and respected guys in downhilling (and an amazing rider).

Flares can be bought in the bivac too, just make sure you bring an emergency kit, michelin card of morocco and compass.

Hi guys, looks like things are cracking along nicely for the Touareg.. im currently out in Morocco with Patsy, Chris and newcomeer to the game Jamie.. some great riding so far and heading to Merzouga this morning with camping in the desert tonight.

Bloody brilliant trails freshly laid down by Jonny Maroc.

See you at the weekend in Wales for those that will be there!

Pains-Wessex are just of the Salisbury to Amesbury road. Be cheeky and give them a ring, they might give you a set as sponsorship, worth a try.

*EDIT* Whoops, that will be the military ones - the commercial PW are in Fareham but anyway:

Clayton. Those flares are the same type as I, and the whole Swedish Team, have in our emergency kit.
