I almost missed this one. I was walking back to the bike when I spied a tiny little growth of fungus clinging precariously to a small branch poking up out of the ground. I wasn't happy with the photos I was getting, though, partially due to the hot lighting, but then I had an idear. First, for scale:  Not all that much to look at. From THIS angle, that is....
