A friend's '09 690 was stolen from in front of his house last night. Steering head was locked but that was all the security he had. It is insured, so he will get something but not a new bike.

I keep mine in my garage with the other bikes, but it made me think. Occasionally I have a recurring nightmare that I go down into the garage and it's empty.

Sorry to hear of your friend's loss. I hope the thief has a bout of FI issues in the most desolate of landscapes.

I had a bordeaux inspired dream last Saturday night; was riding an airderly bike through whoops with a big grin. Sunday night's second gin drink 'won' me an auction.

You are at least partially to blame.

It's waiting on a truck in MI now.

aside from the Austin Princess I think Top Gear likes to pick on Rover's next. I have a 68 109, 73 SIII, disco hybrid, and a range rover. None are on the road

all are some sort of project. I need to clean them out and simplify my life a little...I ended up with sooo many projects...I blame some sort of mental illness combined with boredom for that.

Every single morning before I leave for work I look in the garage at the bikes.

Every very single day I get home the first thing I do when I walk through the door is to look in the garage at the bikes......

I have a 64 109. Weirdly enough its my only toy that's guarenteed to start and go (not necessarily stop). And that's with a 690R, R1200GS Adv, Cagiva Elefant 750 LE and 600R as stable mates.
