That AdventureSpec skidplate is the nicest looking, best finished, I have ever seen and it fits right up perfectly. But it resonates like a mofo even with a bit of rubber damping applied to the interior surface.

They all do that, especially when they're shaped like a bathtub. I've made a few and that's my results.

I've only put a few miles on the bike with the AS skidplate, I haven't noticed the resonance.

I know with the I/T on the rear, I could stop every 10 miles and visibly see the difference in wear when on pavement. It was excellent on dirt surfaces, but got a bit "lively" on wet rocks. I think I even did a couple of unintentional "whips".
