![]() Did some further searching now that I've got a part # and you're correct from what's been posted anyway, won't fit the '08E cluster. Fits my '10 though.

The screen is designed to work with gloves. "Resistive" touch screen, whatever that proprietary lingo means to the end user. I'll use protective sheets over the screen so hopefully that won't mess with the functionality wearing gloves.

Not if it is the HID. Boatman sells a conversion kit to install a 7" VW H4 headlight in that frame.

Nope, it is an HID high beam. The two LED lights are my low beam: 900 lumens each.

high speed wobble
At highway speeds of 65-85 mph, my 690E seems “nervous” and has a slight tendency to wobble, especially if I initiate it. Never a serious problem yet, but a little un-nerving. I recently put a a kouba lowering link on and dropped the front TT down about ˝ inch but still has the same tendency. I am not running a steering damper so can’t try that. My only thought is I have the large Baja HID light on it along with a small shield above the light which is considerable weight. I’ve not ridden it with the OEM light so can’t compare. I’d appreciate any ideas on what I might try to improve it. tks

I'm running a 606 up front at 22 lbs. and a 908 in the rear at 24. I had Mefo Explorers on before and experienced the same thing.

I had the same problem when I got mine, very flappy and a bit scary at times. Mine had worn michelin desert tires on. I ended up changing the forks for SXF ones and was running the front of the bike a bit higher than stock which seemed to help calm it down. It now has different tires on and is a lot calmer so I will be dropping the front back down soon. The bike seems to be a lot more nervous than my EXC.

Wobble.
It was recommended to me to start with pitching the MT21 first off. That didn't do it so I put it back on. Second recommendation was to reset/check the fork/triple alignment and retorque everything related. I cleaned up the inside of the fork clamps as well. That did the trick.
