600/650 sportbikes set up for touring? lets see em... - Page 6

'06 FZ6 - Just shy of 100k km on her now, many more to go. Pictures from last year.

I find it great for touring on. I have added a lot to it over the years, but the biggest trip I did with not much more then the hard bags, seat, and windscreen. I have done tens of thousands of kilometers with the Givi V35 bags loaded to over weight capacity, without any issue. Lack of power has certainly never been a problem for me. I plan to keep this bike for many years to come.

Here's my 2009 Kawasaki 650R in an unexpected snowfall in the Mohave National Preserve near Kelso Dunes. Awesome bike that takes me everywhere! 2 Givi 35L cases and the rest are lashed. Cheers!

This picture depresses me. I look at the leg position and know that I could never ride a sportbike a long distance. Just isn't happening. I wish I could, but...anyway, nice picture.

You can do a few things to lessen that knee bend and still have ample cornering clearance
