The Godspeed Rally--USA Trippin' and living on my GS
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Thank you for the inspiration for the journey I am currently on. I have decided to do a 4 corners tour of the USA with an indefinite time frame. I have no car, no apartment, no furniture, no family, no real job. I will travel when I can and work when I have to. I fire sold everything I owned and here I am. It's just me, my gear, and the GS. If you have any questions feel free to ask. The precipice for this trip was losing my job 2 months ago. I worked for a forensic firm. The job was emotionally draining and required too much travel that was not on my own terms. It did teach me that I can be self sufficient while on the road. I am 3 years out of college and have decided to follow my dream of becoming a moto-journalist/creative director. If it wasn't for me stumbling upon the book "Adventure Motorcycling" by Ted Simon and Robert Wicks, then finding this board, I would not be here posting right now. Here's a link to the book for anyone that is interested: http://www.amazon.com/Adventure-Moto...e+motorcycling I will update this thread as much as I can since I truly love this board. Some other avenues of "following me" are through twitter @GodSpeedRally and my Tumblr. The first three people from here who follow me on twitter who get a free one off sticker I designed. Another adv'er already described it as badass. Just tweet to my wall that you are from here. I am currently working on a blog since I have big plans for this beyond just motorcycling. Some of my other inspirations are writers Hunter S. Thomspon, Henry Rollins, Edward Bernays, the Dada Art movement, politics, legit comedy, photography, going fast and sexy sexy women. My currently location is South St. 1 mile east of the southernmost point on the continental US in Key West, Fl. I can almost smell the reggaeton from Cuba. I will get some pics around here tomorrow. Here are some others to hold you over: Tharrr she blows before setting out ![]() Indiana Jones, 009 (me) and The Terminator in South Beach ![]() Miami from the Rickenbacker Causeway 6am July 4th, 2012 ![]() Creative shot I did at my cuban friend's house dubbed "Rubiks Cuban Koffee" ![]() Moto Concerto #9 ![]() Here's me flying a mofuggin jetpack. My buddy works for JetLev. ![]() I will be looking for places to couchsurf or camp along the way. My plan is to head up the eastern seaboard to Maine by the end of the summer, then west to Jackson Hole, Wyoming where I can work to recoup funds and snowboard for a season. If you would like to host me I cook, clean, and am fantastic with wildlife. Much Thanks, Chris

Thanks. I just got done reading the rules again. I will keep this moto centric since we are on a this board, even though I will be doing a lot of different things. If you want to see what else I'm doing hit those other links.
The ride down to Key West from West Palm Beach was long, straight, boring, but nice. Once you hit Miami, you're in a different world. My dad worked in Miami for over twenty years and use to always say the thing he liked most about Miami was that it was close to the United States. I met a gentleman off the forum named Andy Snyder in Homestead, Fl. He owns a 2007 GSA. He helped me install an electric tank bag so I can get POWA to the bike. Much thanks Andy for putting up with my newb ass and having crazy patience to get this install in the bag so to speak. We hit a winery afterwards called Schlebys. I highly recommend this place if you are ever in the area. After Key West, I head back to my base in Palm Beach to regroup and finally head north after being delayed about two weeks. See some of ya'll soon!

I better be on the top of the list for the stickers! It was good to meet you and help with bag and power install! Sorry we kept you out so late last night! He failed to reveal he had to nap today on his ride from Homestead to Key West!
Holler if you need to crash on the way back to the states and enjoy KW!! |

Tank Bag
Hey Chris........go back and check the thread I started about the tank bag mount. Seems maybe if you loosen the screws that attach the bag mount ring to the new gas cap ring it might make the gas lid easier to latch. I think you could just loosen the four screws that you can see on the ring.

In Corner #1 KEY WEST!!
I road back from Key West today. Here is a picture of the radar before I left. I heard the biggest lightning boom an hour before departing but needed to get out of the paradise grunge atmosphere. I figured why not get some wet miles under my belt. Twas smoothing sailing all the way back. Even got some lunch with a cougar in Miami Beach. ![]() To the three gentlemen who are following me on twitter, please PM your address here on ADVrider and I will mail you the stickers. Thanks!

SNIPED by some motocops. Schmoozed them and got a warning. I wanted to do a gadget-off but they had more cagers to lasso. +1 Citizens
