Really loving this report. Great job guys. Can not believe where y'all took the big bikes.

After looking at the pics, I'm thinking about running away from home for a few weeks. Anyone want to offer a couch for me to sleep on when I decide to come back?

Looking forward to more pics.

If Peaches ever downloads and posts his pics, he has a clearer shot of this one... While on top of Imogene, we here this little 2 stroke dirt bike coming up the hill, he makes the crest and heads on down the way we came up. Looked like a 100cc or less, no shirt, no gloves, flip flops, no helmet, swim suit shorts hanging half off his boxers and flying...

On our last day in CO, EBW and Peaches and I headed to eat breakfast at the Syracuse Mine, only to find out that they closed the cafe a few days earlier. So we rode on to Ridgway and ate at "Kate's Place"

Tuesday, September 6th

The plan for today was to take it easy. Evil and BW wanted to head on to Moab because they needed to get there in time to pick up some supplies from Arrowhead. Peaches decided to rest that morning then ride on to Moab.

Weave, Paddle, Supah, and myself headed out towards Owl Creek.

The weather was looking a little gloomy.

The clouds were really starting to thicken up and a light rain began to fall.

We passed this Elk farm along the way.

It was getting close to the time we wanted to be on the road for Moab so we decided to head back to town.

We made it back to Ouray about noon. Packed everything up and hit the road to Moab.

Notes from the day: If you are looking for smooth, scenic, and fast, the area around Owl Creek is incredible. There are countless dirt roads that we passed. A person could spend quite a bit of time exploring the area, and not worry much about getting themselves into trouble. However, we also saw some nice looking single track trails.

Up next: The White Rim Trail in Moab. Is it closed or can you ride it all the way through?
