Gotta feel horrible about Chad's crash. IMO, I think that is he is the only out there to five RV a run for his money, on any given day. I thought it was gonna be great race between RV and CR last night....sadly it was not.
From what I saw, the damage to the knee is probably cartilidge related. It looked like it was a big yank of his body, on the last roll of the bike, that probably did the damage. Just speculation. I did have a buddy in HS that had a bad football tackle. He was moving full bore down field and a guy caught his leg and yanked back...snapped the knee cartlidge in half.

Reeds crash really sucks. I was really rooting for him now that I'm past the Reed/Stewart drama. His getting on the bike after the crash at Millville last year is the most incredible feat in the history of dirt bikes as far as I'm concerned. Too be riding as good as he was last night defies logic he's supposed to be "older" now him and RV were HAULING ASS I've never seen 2 riders do that. The track did seem fast the whoops were a minor inconvenience compared to last week. I don't buy the remark that Reed might wait to pass RV because he didn't want to show him his lines. That whole not showing the other rider your lines is a non issue in my book those guys are all pro's and don't need anybody to show them lines. Great racing but it doesn't look god for Reed. I wonder if he was wearing knee braces? How can they not at that level with everything at stake but if they don't wear neck braces they probably aren't wearing knee braces. Could Barcia look any less like he was actually drinking the Muscle Milk after his heat? What a joke these sponsor plugs are you'd think the contract would say you WILL chug this in front of the camera and define chug. He obviously didn't want to drink it. Christ pour it on your fucking head or pour it on one of the 2 girls behind you. Great race. Major suckage for Reeds knee.

I am, he'll be back in his place next week, when the real racers aren't starting from 15th-20th place. Could his bike be any uglier? That fucking thing looks like the carpet in a casino.

He is proving himself to be one of the best of the rest, turning in the best performances we have seen from him in some time. Credit where due.

Bubba, Windham, Metcalf, Brayton, and Tickle should be washing the bikes, cars, and big rig by hand daily until they can finish in front of that turd. I hope their teams post those results in every spot around the rig to remind them of last night.

What a epic battle that was going to be between CR and RV. Did anyone see what caught CR boot to his peg? I know he was wearing the new fox boots but it almost looked like his foot was glued to the peg. I really hope his knee is ok but history shows us, probably not. Was it me or did JS bascially say his bike sucks with out saying it last night? It might be time for the AMA to step in and talk to JBarcia before he hurts someone in the lights class and JS little brother should be fined for what he did...just race kid you would have gotten around JBogle soon enough. I bet Tyler Evans would have done more then bitch slap you Malcolm.
As for Barcia promoting muscle milk

I so wanted to see Reed beat Ryan. Now it's going to be a boring runaway season if Reed is out for any real time. He is tough but he's also pushing 30 and that looked like it did some damage.

It started out looking like it was going to be another dream season with Villopoto, Stewart, Reed, Dungey and Canard vying for the championship. Then, down goes Canard, Stewart is just not in it (mind, bike, etc.) and now Reed possibly out. So that leaves Dungey and with a new bike & team and no killer instinct it doesn't look like he will have anything for Villopoto. Unless Bubba can mount an unbelievable comeback it looks like the championship is Villopoto's to lose.

Also if JGR is so trick lets see them rig an electric start onto the Yamaha's the #7 bike needed it last night. But they can't because at the end of the day JGR is just bolting after market parts on and making bullshit that doesn't really do anything with their NASCAR shop. Big fucking deal Joe Gibbs wouldn't know a torch from a brass hammer when it comes to building bikes. |
