Great pics and ride report fellas!

Nobody would have known had I not said anything. The ONE that was left floating upside in the cooler gave it away.

I also noticed the Alfa Romeo to the left and the Countach behind you. You sure missed the meets objective.

So we we were riding our bikes and....

We got our first little taste of the tropical storm that was to follow us for the next couple of days.

Finding our way out of the slick gravel and onward to a camp site.

We were on a bit of a mission at this point since we were a bit behind schedule (I know, not us?!! ). We rode some of the best twisty two lanes after the above shot was taken. Since we were in Northern GA we were treated to back country mountain roads...You don't get that in Florida. Well....We were all a bit fixated on the ride and kind of blew right past the camp site (a short 25 mile ride turned 50 miles) and our meeting place with JD. We decided to push on and find food and lodging (and JD). We wound up a a gas station and ran into a MC club that had ridden up from FL somewhere. Since our little group was too 99% for them we didn't speak to them much but they were entertaining with all of their chase vehicles. One cool scene in all of this was that one of them was an amputee and was ring a really cool Sportster trike setup.

We hung around the station for a while waiting for the arrival of JD. He was slabbing 500 miles or so just to meet up with us. While we were waiting a "friendly" (I think he was drunk ) guy comes over to talk to us and proceeds to knock Buzz's bike over right onto Buzz. No harm no foul but we weren't really amused with the antics and I think that he could tell as he kind of hit the bushes after that.

JD arrives a short time later and we head off to eat, winding up at a little BBQ joint right up the street. I don't recall the name but the food was GREAT!! The lady that runs the place makes her own hot sauce and the stuff was the absolute shit!!

She was super cool and wound up helping us find a cheap motel in the area. BBQ lady...YOU ROCK!!

Across the street was a nice massage parlor. This is a very up and coming town...Trend setters if you will. They are taking the initiative to do physical therapy past the hours of the rest of the businesses in the area. Freaking entrepreneurs!!

After stuffing our faces we hauled ass to our luxurious suites in order to rest up for the next days ride. Not only was this one of the nicest places that I have ever stayed but I am pretty sure that the rooms come with free meth. Unfortunately the hooker next door took all of mine so I had to try and get by with sucking the used nicotine out of my pillow. Aah....The good life!

We also payed extra for the VIP parking...

After a nutritious breakfast of the finest locally caught fauna..

We were on our way.

Regardless of the kings spread not everyone's appetite was satiated so we needed a break! Snacks were eaten and shit was talked. Somewhere around here Mr Kuntz went exploring and found some treasure. Shortly after we were chased by a horse that had apparently taken a shine to Buzz and his bike.

We spent some time picking our way through twisty black top and back country double track until we came to this...

Hey, you can't do that with a plate!!

This ADV trail had some very gnarly rock strewn climbs complete with off camber switch backs and waist high whoops. FREAKIN" SWEET!! It was on this trail that I would really see how hard core the guys on the big bike are. They impressed the hell out of me to say the least.

This is JD dealing with one of the rough sections..The pictures do not do justice to the conditions of this trail (do they ever?).

After that we needed a...you guessed it...a break.

That is NOT the finger you use to start counting with!!

We left the ATV trails and headed out to find our next dirt riding destination. The scenery was beautiful and got Buzz's thumb of approval.

We came to an area that ran along a powerline trail. This place was a ton of fun (not the fat chick kind, the riding kind!).

The place is a favorite stomping ground of the local 4x4 crowd.

All of them were really curious about the group of loaded dirt bikes with FL plates. We shot the shit with them for a while and watched as some of them made the rutted climbs look easy. They were all very cool people. Not at all the nature hating eco-terrorists that many would have you believe.

This place was a really fun place to ride with it's rutted climbs, fast and smooth double track, technical rutted doubletrack trail and a couple of slick water crossings.

After spending far too much time having fun here, there and everywhere we were in serious trouble when it came to making our next destination for the day. From this point on it would be a mad dash on the slab to get to AL Tuna's house. We rode like lunatics well into the dark. Luckily Buzz had captured the sun to use as a headlight so at least he was covered. We finally got to Al Tuna's house at around 10 pm which we all felt like giant assholes about since we were supposed to be there at 5 pm or so. After spending some time with introductions we were escorted upstairs to one of the most awesome meals that I have every had...Seriously!! Al Tuna's beautiful wife had produced a spread that rivaled a Roman feast but it was even better...It was all Southern food!! I really can't explain how damn good this food was. If you could have such a thing as a mouth-gasm, this would be the meal to give it to you!

Pot roast, corn bread, black eyed peas and green beans, the best freakin' mac and cheese ever, mashed potatoes, red potatoes and banana pudding and cookies for desert. I tried to eat myself into a coma by gobbling down three plates of food and several bowls of pudding. Had I eaten myself to death it would have been worth it!!

The fact that these awesome people went through all of this trouble for a bunch of strangers is something that I will never forget. Al Tuna and Mrs Al Tuna, thank you!!
