When are you hitting Phoenix on the way to Tucson? If you need anything let us know. I live right off of the 51 in North Phoenix.

Sounds like you have things all mapped out and a game plan. Looks like you will have a good trip and lots of sight seeing. Good luck on your adventure.

Day 1 September 21
Well in tradition of Radioman man My starting numbers, don’t know where this is going but looked cool.
My day was anything but exciting as I hummed down the road this first day of fall. I did feel that littler extra snap in the air this morning that crisp, and then it warmed up good on the Nevada highway.

Didn't take many pictures, cause like, really not much in the way of changing topography, I missed a few cool shots because I couldn't get the Camera out in time.

Here's what I looked at all day

I;m holding back enthusiasm

more

Somewhere I pulled off on a gravel road for a bladder check

Looked at my new tire, me likey so far.

That's it.

Last time I was in Baja we ended the first day with a nightime bashing through ditches sand and boulders on 650 Stroms, turns out their not dirt bikes. We had missed a turn so the dirt road became the way to head.
A quart of Wild Turkey was broken in the process.

Your trip will go much smoother. We'll keep an eye on you

That's a typical Sam smile.

You need to wash your visor it's full of NV bug guts.

Evening

Quick and to the point. Did you all know it's HOT here. I am sorry no pictures as I feel like the Turkey in the oven all day today, sweltering hot 106 to 108. I so done. Maybe something tomorrow. 550 miles today... Tucson tomorrow. Radioman and I tried to link up but didn't happen, he's somewhere around Needles CA tonight.

I promise it gets better, just need to get to the jump off point.

Ladybug that particular self shot............. well no I'm not smiling, thinking are we there yet,... I finally cleaned the bugs off.
