I'd put my money down on one if I could get a DCT around here. I kind of have to wait on the 2013 since the 2012 can no longer be ordered.

It was around 20*F on my ride to work this morning. Nice and toasty with my Cal-sci shield and Gerbings. I didn't see any
other bikes on the commute, and the guys at work that don't understand heated gear think I'm nuts.
Little do they know, I was very warm.

Cycle trader.com has dozens of new NC700x with DCT listed for sale.

A lot of dealers advertise models they donot have in stock. Some are advertising CB1100s. They well not be here before March or April.

Yes. Cycle Trader is useless unless you are looking at personal for sale ads. Dealers will put anything on there. If you notice when you are on Cycle Trader, 98% of the dealer bike do not have a stock number in the ad. I've called around enough to learn that if there is no stock number, there is no stock.

Has anyone swapped for a bigger windshield yet?

I think I want more protection on the highway.

I ordered the Honda big windshield with mine.
Should be better than the stock small one.
At least for Spring and Fall riding.

I've tried the Givi windshield, which was *almost* perfect for me, if it was just an inch or so taller. If I roll my shoulders and lower my head just a bit I get a major drop in wind noise, and pretty much all buffeting from the stock windshield is gone. I removed that, and am currently trying the stock screen in combo with the National Cycle Defender DX adjustable screen. Since this one is adjustable, I'm trying it in multiple configurations, but I honestly think the givi provided better blockage.

I'm thinking of selling my Givi if you're interested. Think it still has the stickers on it, as I only took a few trips to work and back with it installed (~7 miles each way).

FYI I'm 6'1" with a 34" inseam if that gives you an idea of how tall I'm am above saddle.

The local Honda dealer called today to say mine is in along with the center stand I ordered. I will fetch tomorrow and try to mount this weekend. The forecast is for more than a foot of snow and below freezing temps for a week. It might be a few weeks before I can test.

We just got to riding weather with clean streets the last weekend.
