Looks like fun but I have to go to my kids track day meet shortly after picking up the bike so can't make it.

Would maybe have gone if I wasn't test riding the Explorer at my dealers but given what is likely going to be my bike is here I expect I would be pushing my luck.

I confirmed my bike has the full SE kit on it so that is good news. My dealer has been great in getting me info and we agreed a deal in advance of the test ride. No major discount but a small token of generosity on his part which was unexpected. Thumbs up so far for Trebour Motorcycles NJ.

You guy from NJ are all so adventurous I got you confused with the other guy, getting his bike from Martin. I forgot you were shopping some what locally.

Adventure is my middle name; though I actually shortened it to Alan for convenience

One rumor I heard (read) was Triumph was waiting to see how the reception was for the big Tigger, and based on that may come out with a Tiger Explorer Adventure (or Rally, or .....) that would have all the launch bike bits plus a larger tank and wire wheels. Once that's in the market, the wire wheels would be available for the standard bike. But again, all just rumor....excellent-if-true rumor....

So . . . . it may be worth waiting a while to see which way the wind blows?

Not a wire wheel fan but would buy the larger tank if it would mount right up, guess we'll see what happens :)

Oh I will without a doubt post a pic of it on the show room floor or in front of the dealer, wherever she sits when I get there

This is a pretty heavy bike. I can see graded and hard packed roads but think I will stay away from sand and mud with it. .
