comments needed

this is the final comment period on the Magdalena. The only stitch of hope we trials riders have is a 756 acres motorized recreation area. It is in Alternative 3 paragraph 2 (Sec2&3, T9s,R5w) NMTA held a meet here sometime in the late 70’s or early 80’s,(I can’t find an exact date) I have ridden it a bunch and had a few other trials rider out there (Gordy and Bob Micket) it is a really cool area so please contact the FS and let them know that We would like to see this area remain open to “motorized trials”
an RR I did with Micket out there

A good friend will take you trail riding, an ADV friend will double back and say, "how did you get down there?"

Thanks Grizzzly! You are taking about springtime, right?

What should we call that area in our comments? Is it well known as Springtime?

Also, is it motorized now or just trails?

The more I know, the better comment I can put together.

Also guys, if you don't comment, you will have no basis for any further comments I the process.

Thanks for all the help on this grizz!

here is a link to the full 230 page EA
http://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_...rdb5441158.pdf

page 12 is the start of the 4 "Alternatives" (you can pick and choose recommendations from different alternatives) but they have to be in by the 23 of this month.

No basis for appeal when the wrong alternative gets chosen.

Done grizzz... and thanks for getting the word out.

I haven't ridden this area but it looks amazing by the photos I've seen.

On EA page 169, the description of Alternative 3 says:

"This alternative prohibits all cross-country motorized travel, .... , and establishes a 756-acre area designated for motor vehicle use."

How can all cross-country travel be prohibited and still have an "open" area for trials use?
