A few shots from the morning session at the new Prossie track over Easter. Meant to go back later but got caught out at one of the Airlie watering holes for most of the arvo.

All types present and accounted for...even the odd Roota...

Fantastic! best fun i've had with me pants on !
started in the novice group as i'd never riden a motard till the day before, by the third session I was running with the medium group, by the end of the day i was running in the medium fast & prob at the bottom of the pack of the fast group , but those top boys are bloody unreal!!!
Luke Burgess came out for a few demo laps & blew everyone into the weeds!

Looks like a few of the MX boys were out there, i reckonize a few of those numbers. So when are they starting proper racing, might have to get something ready for the boys to have a crack, after mx season.

Interesting you recognise a few of those race numbers a few of those guys look to be dedicated super moto fans, but alot of the bikes look well used & seen plenty of dirt action, not sure when their season kicks off i know they had their first race meeting a month ago.
They hold a practice day once a month & was asked to come back & have a play, had a yarn to Mick Hansen on the day he reckons racing these things would be the go for us old blokes ,cause the fitness required is a little less than enduro's & MX , lol.
I'd be happy just to do a few practice days!
With your boys bikes, just throw some sticky tyres on the normal rims for a budget run, Ross Taylor came runner up In S3? several years ago running stock rims on a kato !

What about the ATTGAT, do you have to use leathers. I don't fancy forking out 3 k for a suit will jeans and MX armour do?

Nope, Jeans & mesh jacket will only cut it in the novice group, leathers & spine protector after that! you could scout around for a second hand set & make the little buggers buy their own!
I reckon you & the DR could go around corners as well!!! you'd fit in with the triumph tiger & 2 Buell ulysses running around on saturday!
