Another thing, if your not a member of RACQ i suggest you join before you go. A recovery bill from up they're could send a man broke.

Winner Winner Jack's got a new tool box!
Just got back from Richmond, the boy done good, got the chocolates and a new tool set for me.
![]() It started of cold it was 0 with a cold wind howling across the pits, just what i needed after a long night at the Federal. ![]() ![]() Lot's of Euro trash there, OBB would have been in heavan. ![]() ![]() The boy's line up for the Ironman start a dash for the cash! ![]() ![]() The start went well, the mighty Kwaka! rored into life first kick unlike a lot of other brands he was 3rd into the first corner behind 2 button starter KTM's, the competition up front was hot, Carmichael was applying the blow torch on his freshly rebulit 450 KTM that grenaded at Finke on day 2 after a top 5 finish on day one. Was i worried just a little, well he's been here before like a lot of other top guns and failed to win it, but he can motor. It was a hot pace and without looking i knew the GREEN MACHINE was the leader as they approached the finish of lap 1, that distictive sound of pure horsepower forever etched in my memory from endless days of Kawi dominance, of course most people refer to it as Industrial deffness ![]() The battle raged on hour after hour, we lost the lead on a fuel stop about 3 hours in, bastards had those fast filler gadgets, ole Jack had a bustard arse gerry and a funnel Never mind he caught and passed, then crashed, then caught, then crashed, then came around back in front with 35 minutes to go! Eventually he held on to win by 5 minutes ![]() ![]() The old Bull rider from Aramac (starlights 2nd cousin) finished a valant 5th, got of the bike rolled a smoke and cracked a can! ![]() ![]() The winner returns, he was hurting. ![]() So, to the victor the spoils, $1000 cash, a $1700 tool set $200 worth of products and Gold Cup, well that's more than he get's paid from me for 4 hrs work ,Oh and he get's the Today off as a bonus. ![]()

xt660z rider
Hi everybody
![]() I live in Emerald and ride a tenere, looking for anyone keen to go for rides, I usually get let out every second weekend or so, and generally only manage to get a one day pass. I like to cover some ground and check out new places dirt roads a must. 400-600km loop rides in and around the central highlands area, for example the weekend gone I went down the wealwandangie road and through the goodliffe section of the Carnarvon NP to Tambo (great burgers at roadhouse) and back to Emerald on the development road (700kms) was a big day but had a load of fun. ![]() ![]() Except I lost the rear end of the bike! the bit that holds the number plate and blinkers etc broke clean off and a bit of mounting bracket for pannier racks is on that bit too...... So guess where im going this saturday??? Anyone keen for a lap let me know. |

Tenere eh, be pretty hard to find anyone around here willing to ride with a Yamaha owner. Probably need to trade her in on a DR so you can travel along at the same snail pace and dribble the same shit every time you pull up ![]() ---
