This is a comfy, long suspension to soak up real world pot hole roads, road burning, long distance, sporty bike.

Enjoy it for what it is. Don't make it something it is not.

ADV bike progression:

Versys 1000/Tiger 1050

V-Strom

Cross Tourer

Tiger 800

GS800

S10

GS1200

GS1200 Adventure

Street to dirt.

Choose your weapon to match your actual riding.

Buy one and enjoy the awesome machines we have to choose from in today's world.

+1

Just add the KTM 990 ADV to the end of that list.

I like it, I really like the low muffler to allow the bags to be able to tuck in tighter. gonna make a nice tourer!

It´ll be a great tourer no doubt... but that sure is one of the weirdest looking machines to enter the market for a while!

It looks like someone has given the designer a huge box full of all sorts of motorcycle parts, plus a photo of Yamaha´s TDM900, and told to make a match

Of all the new offerings, this would be my pick. Good thing it isn't coming to the USA next year (?) , cause I just bought a wee in April.

An hour's worth of removal and sanding and some matte black urethane will fix the ugly on the front headlight trim... I'm certain SOMEONE will figure out a center stand for it, but it defies all logic that they have to...

I wonder if motorcycle engineers leave the jack out of their cars to save weight and $$$$.

dont panic, people. It clearly has welded on mounts for swingarm "buttons" so you can use a sportbike-type rear stand

Vstrom owners are relieved that the ugly crown has now completely passed onto the Versys line.

I really like the Versys 650, but not enough to get one, went for T800 instead.
This one? I will give it a try, but think it will just be to heavy and it is fugly.

I think the concern for most is lubing on the go, while you don't have access to such a stand.

Install pit jacks.
Then you can get that way cool Pfffsshhhhh sound as you leave.

Don't know why that pooped into my head. It just goes with the Transformer-sih nature of the front.

Might have popped for a V-twin KLR. The check-book stays tucked away on this one.
