Since I know you carry appropriate tools for trailside fixes, you're more than welcome to come along. If you did any of the technical sections at the Roaming Rally, you can likely handle whatever I put together. Some of the route will be two-track and jeep trails. Very little, if any true single-track. Some sections will certainly be challenging (ie loose rocky uphills) but nothing that requires A-level enduro racing skills (not that those would hurt though).

Naw, I won't be on the KTM, so breakdowns shouldn't be a concern. Had a good ride with you until I hit the no-go-no-more part.

I"m still in, but haven't gotten a yea or nay from the missus yet. She may visit some friends in Maine while I continue on to the Rock.

And BTW, mud is not necessarily single track. . .

Sounds very much like a "don't tell" invitation. If I can trust my little KLR to make it over there and back, I'll join. (permission from GMB needed, of course)

Say ... aren't you the guy that rode the "easy" dual sport route with your "sportbike" the last time that Cromag was still in Maine?

I wasn't there for it, but I think the quote went something like "it's still a road ... it just has dirt on it".

It has to go up some, but not significantly. $50, $40, $30. If we want T-shirts that will have to be added. I have tried to keep it so you can come on your ahem....errrr.....KLR....for a weekend on a C-note or less if you really wanted.

While on the topic...do we want to add t-shirts to the price? The arteest is thinking some composite drinking device too.
