I will try to have a donation set aside at the store this year for the gathering.

Dark beer, maybe a few steaks...
Just make sure they have some doublebag. oh and pbr.

I gave a wishywashy answer before but please add me to the yes pile. I will show up on day 1 (Thursday?) eat meat, and party hard. Put me down for trucking in too please.

Cool2 silver lake

I have been reading the posts and am a little confused to what is going on this weekend. Does everyone split up and ride where/what they want? Is there just asphalt/dirt/mud to your seat rides? I am thinking of attending, but trying to understand the layout of how things work. Yes, this would be my first rider event! Thanks in advance!

Eh, you were on my list of procrastinators anyway. Glad you are coming again.

That is correct, you can do almost anything you want and will probably find a willing party to go with you. There is everything from assfault to washouts. It is like the Dr. Suess of rides, something for big, small, short, tall, fat, skinny, smart or ninny...you will find something to suit your taste. Hang out at the fire, and make plans to do something the next day. There are groups doing all kinds of different things; even if yanking a crank or grinding a gear is your interest.

Unless, of course, the GS Trophy try-outs are happening then

I also just picked up a 2009 KLR650 from inmate Autocracy yesterday (thank you, great guy) and hauled it back from Portland, the original one, to Voice in the Wilderness territory, Hanover, NH. So I will also attend for the first time as day visitor on Saturday. Looking forward to the ride and hanging out telling tall tales about man vs dirt.

very nice,

we will have to meet up as I am finding there is quite a local uppervalley contingency.

Myself and Iamadventure inmate are noob back on the scene and it will be nice to have a small group to explore and also tell tall tales with.

Definitely. Especially since most of the bike shops now closed so cannot haunt them in spare time.

Too bad Silver Lake kind of small for your CC and some salom skiing. I seem to remember motorboats are banned. Beautiful place though.
