Just a heads up, lots of cops on 89 north. No traffic but some areas of construction with cops sitting on it.

Ate last night at Bentley's before standing around a huge campfire. Chilling at Long Trail by the creek now after a good day on dirt roads. I love Vermont!

Ok
In case anyone out there gives a crap. I got a rear blow out in Woodsville NH. The tube is un repairable. Beantop and some Others are planning to go to Mt Washington tomorrow. If anyone has a spare tube they could give Beantop or anyone heading to MT Washington tomorrow to drop off on the way. That would be great. I am in the Nootka Lodge Woodsville NH. My cell is 570 575-0434. This is for my KLR650. The tire size is 130/80-17. Thanks in advance for any help. If not I am sure I will work it out. See you tomorrow.

There is a local Harley shop I plan to call tomorrow. But I doubt they will have what I need. I will post when I have a solution. Hopefully it will come easy.

Are you close? I could really use a ride there. Maybe I am sure it would be much cheaper to pull the wheel and show up to a shop. I don't want to put you out. But if you're close I could use the help.
There is no phone service here. So I anyone is trying to call me, the hotel number is 603-747-2418 ext 105. Room 5. Thanks

I don't want to put you out. Hopefully the local bike shop will be able to help. But thanks. And no, no tire irons. Nor have I used any in the last 20 years.

Ok
I like the plan. I just hope I did not screw up the tire. It blew at top speed. And ran it pretty far on it before I stopped. See you in the morning.

There's also a reputable mech that once did Triumphs but now specializes in Harleys in Woodsville. He's located a short way down 112, There are signs.

He is who I am supposed to call in the morning. But I am not sure if he will have what I need. Do you think he will?

If so I won't have to put any one out. Maybe we should wait until I talk to him in the morning. I will post after I speak with him. Hopefully by 9am. How does that sound?

I hope so. This is why I keep saying I don't want to put anyone out. It might be a single call and work out. But I can see a Harley shop not having a tube. Which is why I was hoping the cromag guys might bring me a spare on the way to Mount Washington. They plan to make the 8am cog train. So I could have a tub in hand when the shop opens.
But with no service at silver lake. I doubt they got the message.

Hey Dennis,
I'm close by and I can go over to get a tube for you if they have one. I have a fab shop with tools and irons and everything too. Absolute Powersports is a Kawasaki dealer now, but I'll be surprised if they have a 17" tube on hand. We'll see. They open at 8:00 on Saturdays. They're on the right on Rt. 302 just before you get to Rt. 91 Absolute Powersports 70 Industrial Park Wells River, VT 05081 (802) 429-2500 The other place in town is: Jim's Cycle 185 South Court Street ( Jct. Rt 10 and Rt 135) Woodsville, NH 747-2244 Also another Kawasaki dealer that opens at 8:00 on Sat.: Littleton MotorSports 515 Union St Littleton, NH 03561 (603) 444-5003 I'll call them and then give you a call. I'll look into other options too. - Tom

Dennis,
I should have a tube, or, if not, I could pick one up tomorrow in Keene, NH. Unfortunately, I have a full plate all morning, but I could make it up there by 4:00pm if that works for you. My cell is six zero three - three 1 three - six 156. I can probably bail out of here by 2:00 pm or thereabouts, so let me know by then whether you need a tube and I can get one. Henry
