What can you say other than, its Cromag!
Had a great time as usual. Lots of time moving and very little time with the camera. Always lots of this in VT ![]() Spent Friday on the dual sport route, great route ![]() Saturday theothersean lead us down into the depths ![]() In the depths there was some of this ![]() as well as a dead battery in my bike, but all was well in the end. ![]() The long way back to Maine following Goodol was a blast. Miles and mile and miles of dirt and happy faces ![]() Thanks to shrineclown and everyone who helps with the event. Thanks to PWRCRZR, theothersean and Goodol for the awesome rides. Can't wait until next year.

Ah yes, I forgot to say thanks to Kyle in an earlier post for bringing the coffee.
Classy move.![]() The Peoples Pint in Greenfield, Mass. A good place to fuel up before heading out on the Puppy Dog Route. ![]() Do you think 2 dump trucks piled high with wood will be enough? Apparently it is just enough. ![]() ![]() Gandalf cooking ![]() I likes me some potatoes, mmmmmm hhmmmmm. ![]() Rob amazes Rena while the crew adds much needed wood to that tiny little fire. ![]() Took a tour of Drop In Brewery in Middlebury with Jamie, Mary and Huck. They also have brewing classes there if you ever want to start a new career. ![]() They have a special fermenter just to meet BBQers needs. ![]() Top of App Gap. ![]() Our two chefs giv'r on their new Wee Strom. ![]() All ready to feed a hundred ADVers. ![]() I probably don't want to hear the story behind this. ![]() Sailing the high seas of Silver Lake. ![]() no comment ![]() Huck after fueling up at Eaton's. ![]() ![]() Beautiful riding all weekend. I can't wait to do it again.

LARGE thanks to Shrineclown for hosting (and I wish I could end the NHL lockout for you to show my gratitude...)
Thanks to EvilClown and SkiBum69 for the, um... refreshments. Knocked me on my butt, they did. ![]() CroMag is always the best par-tay because of all you FFs. Don't any of you change. Ever. And healing wishes out to BBQer and Kaw4Life, glad you're both home okay.

In the event that the Mayans are wrong. Or that an asteroid does not hit the earth. That Buttercup does not cut the world ending fart. That we are all still taking air. Huck keeps threatening me with that, but he keeps on ticking. God forbid something were to actually happen, he would have to be our Bernie. I am going to throw out there again, if someone has an interest in taking over the event, let me know. If no one has an interest in taking CCR over, it will be the same place, the same time in 2013.
I'll leave it out there for ten days, and then I will secure the facility and date if no one comes forward. ![]() Now I almost feel bad for a comment in there.....so soon.

I sat down to dinner on Saturday night with the park ranger and his wife. I'm sorry to say I forgot their names like most others I briefly learned this weekend. That being said, a cooler couple of people who don't ride bikes I don't think it would be possible to find. Finding a place in a location as good as that, with an admistrator as laid back about people having fun as he seemed to be, seems like it would be an effort without reward.
Keep on keepin on, brother shrineclown. You've set yourself up as an act that nobody could possibly want to follow. Your generosity and level of success is just too scary to even try and match. Besides that, I live in Philly. I can barely get people to come here ro grab my tags. Getting people to come here to camp and ride just ain't happening. |

all that fun and some good deeds, too
Mary & I had (as always) a great time and enjoyed meeting those of you we had a chance to chat with. Good peeps for sure!
Once we finally got everything unpacked, dried off, cleaned up and put away we figured out that you all donated a whopping $2257 to the Vermont Food Bank Saturday night. Give yourselves a pat on the back; that is going to do a lot of Vermonters a heap of good. I'll post a copy of the thank you letter when it arrives. Next year? I'm in! Cheers, Jaime |

What a blast!
First the formalities. I want to thank Clark for keeping this Great event alive. You dont know how many people you make happy by what you do. Its the riding/social event of the year for many of us.
Thank Sixwatt and Wife for the great chow and donating your time end effort. Thanks to Beez for the very cool design on the stickers, its goin on the bike for sure. Thanks to all for making it a fun and friendly event. So many good people I cant count them all. Its like seeing family you didnt know you had. Now to a few pics and more fun. I had a superb ride on Saturday led by our fearless leader Spinalcracker (Mike) on his gizmo'd out F800 GS. We did the Bailey Hazen and more. Also In our group was ADKbeemer(Greg) who I had the pleasure of riding with a couple of years ago at Cromag, on his beautiful Super Tenere. On his trusty KLR was BeemerJim(Jim) smilin all the way. Last but definitely not least was Merlin III (Phil) on his expertly ridden pristine R1150 GS. All of these guys are a class act and I would ride with them anywhere. We had spectacular scenery, interaction with the locals(vt people are always colorful), good food, challenging terrain and great company. I even got a bit muddy. Heres some of the locals admiring the bikes. ![]() We ended up here as visitors only. When my time comes its probably not a bad place to be a resident. ![]() Beautiful views everywhere. ![]() The Gang. ![]() SALUTE!! ![]() Takin a break. ![]() Sorry there aren't more pictures. I was having too much fun riding. Hey Adam, have fun in Colorado! We will miss you next year. You could always ride out here on that KTM! Look forward to seeing you all again next year!
