Dave,
I removed the foam grips I had on my Kawi C14 and took my first ride of the summer with your original grip buddies. Very nice compared to the foam I removed. Can't wait to see how they work this winter with my heated grips. Thanks for a great product, Mick

Just got a pair yesterday. Like. Should solve that last little bit of vibe to the grips as well! I wish I knew why BMW went to the smaller grip size for new models but, that is irrelevant now.

I know what you mean...we have these on our 650's and my other half has a new 2013 F800 and the grips seem really small bu then again we are now used to the Beemer Buddies...looking forward to actually getting new sets and putting them back on our new bikes...

The Long Wait is Over ! ! ! !
SUPER SHARKS ARE HERE!!!!
Well guys. . . . .I am now shipping SUPER SHARKS when you order as usual on my site. Even though I haven't made the changes on my website yet, we are crafting and shipping the SS's whenever someone orders a set of grips from us. Same $24.95 price/set with free shipping CONUS. Also, even though the upgrades resulted in higher production costs to us to fabricate and sell our new SS model, we are still holding the line, presently, on the $24.95/set price. You gotta see and feel these things guys!!! Even though they look the same as the original sharkskins, you will love their more substantial feel and livability. Virtually everyone who has tested these, reports that they combine all of the advantages of both the Originals and the Extreme Duties. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .and then some!!! ORDER THEM HERE Special Thanks to everyone here who contributed suggestions as to how we could improve on our existing best seller, the Sharkskins. Honestly, The idea for the SUPER SHARKS grew out of helpful and constructive suggestions made by folks here on this forum and on other forums. That's it for now, guys. Gotta go back to work. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Time to make the Donuts. . . . . . . Best, Dave Reppert Founder Original Grip Buddies, LLC 518-461-3003 info@originalgripbuddies.com

Leslie- Happy to take pics and send them to you, but you will be disappointed. Even seeing the SUPER SHARKS in person, they are hard to pick out from the Original Sharkskins. You can only tell the difference when you feel and use them. So there you have it. Still need to see pics? Best, Dave R.

Main difference between the originals and the SUPER SHARKS is in the formulation of the rubber compound for the neoprene. The new SS's utilize more pure rubber (from trees), and it is a denser, more robust foam than the originals. Result is better UV resistance, and a more durable (long lasting) product. Both items are identical in thickness and looks and feel, and both have the same properties with regard to ease of installation, heated grip compatibility, weatherproofness, vibration reduction, better feeling of control over your motorcycle etc. I would say that if the current ones are doing the trick for you, that there is no reason to upgrade. On the other hand, when you are ready for a new set, you can look forward to these new grips as being just a better version of the same thing. Hope this answers your question. Best, Dave R.

any plans for a doublethick model? I'm guessing not but a silver dollar roll sized grip is ideal for me... not this roll of quarters stuff BMW came up with.
